Who to contact
Celestials Volleyball Club is responsible for the personal information it receives through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email celestialsvc@gmail.com. Our training venues are listed on the homepage.
Trial requests
The trial form collects your name, email, age group (under 18 or 18 and over), volleyball experience, preferred pathway and venue, and any optional note you provide. We use these details to assess a suitable session, reply to your enquiry and arrange a trial. Please do not include medical or other sensitive information.
We process these enquiries for our legitimate interest in responding to prospective players and organising club sessions. Submitting a request does not sign you up for marketing. A parent or guardian must provide consent before an under-18 player attends.
The trial form works in your browser. Form entries and team preferences are held in the current page and are not saved in browser storage. Contact details are sent only when you submit the form.
FormSubmit and other service providers
Trial requests are sent over HTTPS to FormSubmit for delivery to the club’s Gmail inbox. FormSubmit and the email provider process that information to deliver and store the enquiry. The website does not store trial requests in its own database. Service providers may also receive technical information, such as IP addresses and browser details, when handling requests.
See FormSubmit’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for their processing practices. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; their policies describe applicable arrangements. The website host may process request logs to operate and protect the site.
Instagram and your choice
Instagram content is optional and blocked by default. Accepting it allows Instagram (Meta) to receive your IP address, browser information and interactions, and potentially use cookies or similar technologies. This loading is based on your consent. See Instagram’s privacy policy.
Accept and reject controls appear beside the feed. Use Privacy settings in the footer to change your choice at any time. Rejecting removes the feed and stops further loading, but cannot undo information already sent or remove Instagram cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser.
We store only your Instagram choice in local storage under celestials-instagram-consent-v1, until you change it or clear site data. If storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current page. External links to Instagram, Reclub, maps and results services connect to those providers when you follow them.
Retention
Trial enquiries are retained in the club inbox for handling the request and any necessary follow-up. There is no automated deletion schedule in this website, and the club has not published a fixed inbox retention period. Contact us to ask how long your enquiry is needed or to request deletion. Any continued retention should be limited to a necessary club or legal purpose.
FormSubmit and other providers manage their own systems and retention; deletion from the club inbox does not automatically remove their copies. FormSubmit’s published policy does not specify a fixed retention period.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw Instagram consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Email the club to exercise your rights. We may need information to verify your identity. You may also raise a concern with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission.
